We left “Thalassa” three weeks ago but we have not stopped yet to think intensely to the beautiful days spent at Crete as guests of Vangelis and Stella! Thalassa are very good apartments situated in a place with a lot of good qualities. We have appreciated particularly the quiet and at the same time the services proximity important for the tourists, besides the strategic position to reach the most interesting sites of western Crete. We have spent a lot of days visiting wonderful places around Crete, but we were also happy to return in the evening to “Thalassa”, since we felt very well there! Really thank you to Vangelis and Stella, for their cordiality and efficiency!

Abbiamo trascorso una splendida settimana (dal 6 al 12 settembre). La posizione è ottima per visitare le splendide spiagge a ovest di Creta, tutti gli appartamenti sono arredati in maniera funzionale, ben puliti e hanno un terrazzo ombreggiato lato mare dove si possono consumare pasti con vista incantevole (meno quelli al piano terra per via delle piante del giardino per altro ben curato). Nell'appartamento che abbiamo occupato c'era tutto, persino l'asse ed il ferro da stiro (mai usati, se no che vacanze sono?!!), lo stendibiancheria e la cassaforte. La rete Wi-fi funziona ottimamente. I propietari sono molto cordiali e disponibili ma per niente invadenti. Per chi come noi non è troppo "stanziale" certamente serve una macchina, la cittadina di Kissamos si trova a circa 7Km, ed il (molto)piccolo centro di Drapanias a 1 Km, immerso negli splendidi uliveti che ricoprono gran parte di questo lato di Creta. E' quasi certo che ci ritorneremo.

We have been on Thalassa Apartments on July 2011. The apartmens are quiet, clean and comfortable, all with climatization (but we never need to activate it), the owners are really kind and careful. Just across the road you reach the beach, almost reserverd for the apartments'guests. Wonderful sea and enjoyable wind are always availables. Strongly suggested. Appartamenti dotati di tutto (incluso ferro da stiro), proprietari gentilissimi, disponibili e molto attenti. L'aria condizionata c'è, ma non serve perchè c'è quasi sempre fresco e comunque il ventilatore a pale sopra il letto è perfetto. Il posto è splendido: a pochi chilometri da Kissamos, ma sufficientemente distante dalla zona urbanizzata, di cui non si percepisce la presenza. Spiaggia di sassi, ma il mare è completamente sabbioso e piuttosto caldo. Pulitissimo, perchè intorno non c'è null'altro che qualche villetta. Un piccolo camping a qualche centinaio di metri mette a disposizione un paio di trattorie e un minimarket

I first 'discovered' Thalassa about 10 years ago, just one year after this relaxed complex of studios opened. It proved to be a propitious find, especially as I needed Internet for my research at the time. Ten years on and the warmth is still there; the clear blue, sea, the sense of peace and the good karma - and now there is wi-fi Internet (even better!). Stella, Vangelis thanks for the company and the continuing good times.

Εμεινα δύο μέρες στο συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα και οι εντυπώσεις μου είναι εξαιρετικές, διότι ήταν πεντακάθαρο και περιποιημένο, παρά το ότι ήταν πολύ απλό.Η θέα από τη βεράντα περίφημη και η ησυχία ήταν ό, τι ακριβώς χρειάζεται ένας άνθρωπος που έχει ανάγκη από ξεκούραση.

Το συγκρότημα Θάλασσα είναι ιδανικό για διακοπές. Τα δωμάτια είναι αρκετά προσεγμένα ,πεντακάθαρα ,οργανωμένα,ήσυχα, άνετα. Η παραλία καθαρή, με άμμο μέσα, χωρίς πολύ κόσμο,και ακριβώς στα πόδια σου (δεν χρειάζεται μεταφορικό μέσω,βασικό αν έχεις και παιδιά).Η τοποθεσία βολική καθώς είναι κοντά στην Εθνική ,άρα κοντά στα Φαλάσαρνα, στο Καστέλι, στα Χανιά,στο Κολυμπαρι.Οι ιδιοκτήτες ο κος Βαγγέλης και οι κα Στέλα πάρα πολύ,φιλόξενοι,διακριτικοί και πρόθυμοι να σε εξυπηρετήσουν. Οι διακοπές μας πέρυσι το καλοκαίρι στο Θάλασσα θα μου μείνουν αξέχαστες. Ελπίζω να μπορέσω να ξαναπάω. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!! Μαρία -Μπάμπης και μικρός Χρήστος , Πεζά Ηρακλείου.

Appartamenti silenziosi, spaziosi, luminosi e ottimamente rifiniti; il mare quando non a vista è comunque a due passi. Kissamos è a 5 minuti di auto, vicino c´è un campeggio con buon ristorante, minimarket e lavatrici. Un´ottima sistemazione per una vacanza di totale relax. Wir waren Ende Juni hier und es war sehr entspannend. Wenig Leute, tolle Temperatur. Viel Zeit zum Lesen und für schöne Spaziergänge. Die Appartments sind super ausgestattet, Klimaanlage, Fliegennetze,Internet, Terasse mit Blick auf´s Meer. (20m zum Strand). Sehr nette Gastgeber, bemüht und zurückhaltend. Kann man nur empfehlen!

kalispera we were 5 nights in Thalassa apartments and we recommend this very nice place. The apartments are very clean and confortable; the place really quiet and relaxing. Stella e Vangelis have been able to create an atmosphere really nice and friendly,what is needed for a nice holiday. And region of Chania is really beautiful. Dear Stella and Vangelis. On August 2008, me and my family spent one week in Makrigialos and we thought it was really nice. Then we spent the following week in your Thalassa apartment and found it even better. I will recommend you to any friend that would like to spend a relaxing holiday in west Crete. I really enjoyed both swimming with my children in the sea just in front of the apartment at sunset and discoverying the wonderful beaches we could reach from there. Your accomodation was perfect: clean and provided with all equipments we needed. Not sure if we will return in Crete soon. If so, we will certainly pass some time in Thalassa apartments, again. Hello from France, We were 4 nights at your apartements with our kids, and we enjoyed very much our stay. The beach is very close, nice and not crowded, the apartments are very clean and we felt comfortable. We went to Kissamos to taste very good restaurant and ice creams (we went also to a nice cantine by foot not far from the apartement). The sites (Polyrinia) and beaches to visit are not far. We really recommand this address. Now, our holidays are finished, and we keep a wonderful souvenir of our stay. French version : Nous avons passe 4 jours merveilleux avec nos enfants chez Thalassa Apartements. La mer est tres proche, le site est beau et tranquille. Les appartements sont très propres, les restaurants et les glaces à Kissamos ne sont pas loin. Nous recommandons vraiment cette adresse. Encore merci pour l´accueil. Anne & Nicolas.

Dear Stella and Vangelis, thank you very much for your great hospitality. We are frequent visitors of Crete since the last 29 years but we not often found such a beautiful place to stay. Your „Thalassa Apartments“ and the garden are very nice, quiet and a wonderful place to recover. The surrounding area of Kissamos invites for long walks such as Rodpou, Balos, Sasalos, Milia, Polirinia, Topolia and Sirikari Gorges and and ....... Cath and myself are so pleased we found the THALASSA APARTMENTS Vangelis and Stella have always been so very welcoming and we´ll always feel very fond of them. The view from the appartment window of the Western side of Rodopou must surely be one of the best views in the whole of Greece!! The remote wildness of that peninsular has Vultures and many other birds of prey living there. There is a secret that only good fishermen like Vangelis and Stella knows in that the sea there holds some of the most tastiest fish anyone can find and also very exciting to catch as well. Although it is a quiet and restfull place to go there´s always something of interest to see and do. Here´s hoping it´s not long before we see Vangelis and Stella again. We always love staying at Thalasso apartments - my husband and I find great peace here in the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere which Stella and Vangelis created. Hello Vangelis and Stella, now I try to give a short statement. For me and my wife Thalassa Apartments was a wonderful housing. And I´ll send You some fotos I made there. The rooms are well equipped - we didn´t use the tv but in the evening a little bit the internet. Sitting in the loggia in front of the sea - that was great. Sun and wind, that was great too. Every day I enjoyed to swim in the sea, the distance from the apartment only 30 meters. And Your garden - foll of flowers... We hope to come back soon again. We like You and the people there and are willing to learn some words in greek... No I hope this statement will enter the guestbook, then I´ll continue my reports.
